Project brief:
Oaxaca themed street design and decor. Over Halloween we co-produced an authentic Mexican Day of the Dead themed production for Boneca.
Our solution:

In conjunction with our creative partners, Third Mind Productions, we created various mood boards for inspiration, 3D design renders and conceptual illustrations before embarking on a 7 day scenic build.

Our fantastic team created multiple building frontages inspired by the ‘Yellow City’ in Oaxaca, Mexico. We also had one of our prop buyers in Mexico City select many hand made items for props, including 300 hand cut Dia Los Muertos flags.

The install took 2 days turning the beautiful Art Deco Bloomsbury Ballroom into a Oaxaca inspired street design, alongside Santa Muerte Altars, DJ Booths, and Bar Designs. We also provided staging, lighting (also back lighting building frontage windows), complete blacked out of the venue in drapes, crew and other pre-production support. The final effect looked amazing and wowed the 2k attendees over two nights! Have a small peak at some photos from the event.
